Homeless Family Services

Homeless Liaison for Cherry Creek Schools:  Vicky Lisi    720-554-4555

The Homeless Liaison assists families and children by providing essential educational supports. The primary objective is to remove educational barriers that prevent homeless children from having a successful school experience.
Please feel free to contact the liaison at any time for assistance with:
  • school enrollment and advocacy
  • backpack/school supplies
  • free breakfast and lunch assistance
  • school transportation help
  • community resources for emergency assistance

The school district is not able to pay rent, provide eviction assistance or motel vouchers. We have gathered many great community emergency resources, and listed them in the Resources for Families booklet.  Included are resources for assistance with housing, health care, food banks, clothing banks, employment, child care and many emergency related services.

Family Tree House of Hope is coordinating two Resource Fairs to connect homeless individuals and families with community support in Arapahoe County.

Both events are scheduled the week of the Point in Time Count and will also provide a chance for families who are experiencing homelessness by HUDs definition (not doubling up) to participate in the count. The 2 events are scheduled as follows:

January 31st

Englewood Library

1000 Englewood Pkwy,

Englewood, CO 80110

February 2nd

Sheridan Recreation Center

3325 W Oxford Ave,

Denver, CO 80236
