On Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016 several hundred people came together at Cherokee Trail High School to talk about growth at schools in in the area, and the Cherry Creek School District's plan to accommodate it.
The Cherry Creek Long Range Facility and Planning Committee studied the future needs in the district and identified the necessity for two news schools – an elementary school to relieve overcrowding at Pine Ridge Elementary School and a middle school to alleviate overcrowding at Fox Ridge Middle School.
The plans are part of the LRFPC's recommendation for a bond and budget election this November. You can learn more about all of the recommendations by clicking here.
